My first blog was a disaster (a bit like our climate)

I had no idea what to say so I wrote a novel instead ...

Take any famous personalities, influencers on social media, heads of state, pop stars and would-be experts analysing real-life events for people on TV. Heads of state often make a splash when in office. Take Volodymyr Zelenskyy for example. Not everyone knows he was a producer before he became president. And in one of his productions called "Servant of the People", actor Zelenskyy played the role of a President whose fictional party rose to office, so much so he was elected as real president due to the series' popularity.

Now some years on, the real Zelenskyy is face to face with another star of the media machine, the Donald.

Now you tell me if fiction doesn't subvert reality.

Of course, you might see strawmen going about their business in swimming trunks once the country they ran runs amok, like the ex-UK PM Boris Johnson or they might be wearing a T-shirt and jeans making arms deals like President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. But you would be asking yourself: is that fiction? Am I seeing right?

I am really an anthropologist at heart. The thrill of putting on a mask and playing at being someone else came later. But as a keen observer of my fellow humans, I keep my eyes peeled. Now that two stars of the screen are face to face to avert WWIII, I am asking myself: how the fuck did we get here?

People like you and me may think that history is written in books. But it's actually written in the future by holograms controlled from Space X station, some light years away from humanity and planet earth. Humanity has disappeared and we are all holograms of the past, programmed to live a life that has been dictated by the survivors of the apocalypse. And those survivors are apes.

I promised myself I would not get into the dealings between American president Trump and Ukrainian president Zelenskyy's as they strike it rich before the planet is wrecked, but I will say this: we are here because fantasy rules the world.
